Holly Saunders

Jazz & Kinder Dance

Holly’s love for dance began at age 3 when she started taking Classical Ballet lessons. Quickly discovering her passion for performing, she continued on to study Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Cabaret with the Townsville Academy of Performing Arts in North Queensland. As she grew up, Holly began creating her own choreography for competitions, and soon found how rewarding it was not only to dance or watch her own work on stage, but to share her knowledge with others and see them grow from it! Growing up Holly was blessed with amazing opportunities to dance at Carols by Candlelight as a main show back up dancer for headline acts, the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in addition to dancing in Europe and America. At 17, Holly made the move from Townsville to Melbourne to pursue a career in what she loves, studying for two years at Kelly Aykers Fulltime Dance, completing her Certificate IV in Dance and the Dancers Elite Course, graduating in 2018. Holly’s fulltime journey allowed her to perform regularly through Fulltime Showcases, Masters of Choreography, RAW Melbourne, Undrgrnd, Club Freestyling, Australian Feature Film Opportunities and Commercial Gigs for Fashion Aid & Honda to name a few. Holly is excited to become a part of the LFK family and nurture the magic of dance!

Having trained in North QLD since the age of 5, dance has always been a passion of mine. I decided to follow my passion and move to Melbourne to continue my studies at Patrick Studios Australia in the hopes of creating a career for myself as a performer. I have been fortunate enough to have worked along side and learn from some of the most inspirational choreographers and performers such as Todd Patrick ( Director of Patrick Studios), Amanda Stone, Nathan Pinnell, Travis Scott, Steven Grace and the list goes on. Whilst performing is my passion, my knowledge and understanding of dance has also grown and allowed me to express more in my teaching skills. Gaining my teaching Certificate in Modern Jazz, completing all CSTD jazz, tap and contemporary exams and completing all RAD ballet exams up to Advance 2 I am excited to now share this knowledge and pass it on to these young performers.
